United Way of Greater Duluth’s annual Day of Caring matches teams of
community-minded volunteers with local non-profit agencies in need of extra
hands. Volunteers can make a real difference by tackling agency projects such
as painting, planning activities for kids, holding a donation drive, light
maintenance and many other opportunities.
Day of Caring is a
great way to promote volunteerism, increase awareness of local human service
agencies and give people a chance to see firsthand the impact United Way and
local agencies are creating in our community. Day of Caring has historically happened in June and this year
we're holding an additional Day of Caring around the holiday season on December
10. Visit the Volunteer Center website and click on the Day of Caring tab to signup to volunteer as an individual or team! Contact email@example.com with any questions.
“United Way’s Day of Caring and its volunteers are a terrific addition to our Annual Client Recognition Lunch. Their enthusiasm and support make the event even more meaningful to the 190 people we work with each day.”
