A Day to Show You Care!

NEW this year: Day of Caring Kick-Off on Tuesday, June 21, 2016

Day of Caring is Wednesday, June 22, 2016

Head of the Lakes United Way's annual Day of Caring matches teams of community-minded volunteers with local non-profit agencies in need of extra hands. Volunteers can make a real difference by tackling agency projects such as painting, planning activities for kids, holding a donation drive, light maintenance and many other opportunities.

Day of Caring is a great way to promote volunteerism, increase awareness of local human service agencies and give people a chance to see firsthand the impact United Way and local agencies are creating in our community.

Visit the Volunteer Center website and click on the Day of Caring tab to signup to volunteer as an individual or team! Contact epawlik@hlunitedway.org with any questions.

“United Way’s Day of Caring and its volunteers are a terrific addition as volunteers to help with our  Annual Client Recognition Lunch.  Their enthusiasm and support make the event  even more meaningful to the 190 people we work with each day.”
