National Letter Carrier Food Drive
Donate your non-perishable food items and leave them by your mailbox on May 10th, 2008. This will be the 16th year that the National Association of Letter Carriers in conjunction with the United Way of Greater Duluth, U.S. Postal Service, & the AFL-CIO will be collecting non-perishable food items to feed the hungry in our community. This food drive will help stock community food banks throughout Greater Duluth.

17th Annual Chili Campaign Cook-Off Kick-Off
Plan to enter your best chili at this year's Chili Cook-off! This community-wide effort helps to support several non-profit agencies throughout Greater Duluth.

Shoes for Tots
For several years United Way of Greater Duluth, through its partnership with the Duluth Central Labor Body has co-sponsored the Annual Shoes for Tots Program. This program raises money during the holiday season to purchase new shoes and boots for needy children in area elementary schools. Initial purchases are around the winter season with follow-up purchases made prior to summer and the back-to-school season.
