NATIONAL LETTER CARRIER FOOD DRIVE

This year's Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive was held Saturday, May 9th, 2009!

The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) hosted the annual Stamp Out Hunger! food drive. The event collected much needed non-perishable food items for distribution to community food shelves in Duluth, Superior and surrounding communities.

The Stamp Out Hunger! food drive is the nation’s largest one-day effort to combat hunger.

The Greater Duluth letter carriers received 158,254 pounds of donations this year for food shelves in the area.
