Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
On
Saturday, May 10th, 2008, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC)
hosted the annual Stamp Out Hunger! food drive, and collecting non-perishable
food items for distribution to community food shelves in Duluth, Superior
and surrounding communities. The Stamp Out Hunger! food drive is the nation’s largest one-day effort to combat hunger.
The Greater Duluth letter carriers received 158,254 pounds of donations this year for food shelves in the area.
