Initiative Fund Distribution Volunteer Panelists
During February and March
2009, volunteer panels will meet to consider how funds
will be distributed to meet the capacity building needs
of community and faith based organizations in our region.
These organizations serve some of the most vulnerable
people in our community such as at risk youth, individuals
facing homelessness, individuals facing addiction, to
name a few. The panels will be comprised of a broad spectrum
of volunteers from many different backgrounds. Volunteers
that participate in this fund distribution process assist
with maximizing the impact that capacity building funds
have in our region.
As a panelist, you will be a partner in creating lasting
positive community change. Your involvement in this process
ensures the federal capacity building dollars are directed
to organizations facing significant challenges and undergoing
changes to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
