“Communities Empowering Youth” Grant
The Community Empowering Youth grant is working to build the capacity of 10 Duluth area agencies serving youth at risk of abuse, neglect, violence and involvement with gangs.

The agencies involved with this grant are the Duluth Area Family YMCA, the Boys & Girls Club of Duluth, YWCA Duluth, Neighborhood Youth Services, Copeland Community Center, East Hillside Patch, Grant Collaborative, Life House, Valley Youth Center, and Men as Peacemakers.

2. Provide comprehensive, customized training and technical assistance, based on Organizational Self-Assessments to the youth-serving agencies that are part of this program.
3. Provide financial assistance for customized capacity building to the youth-serving agencies that are a part of this program.
